A lot of people couldn't come the first week, but we figured we had to get together and get the ball rolling. Showing up was Tim, Justin, Erin and Kevin. They finished in this order
4th - Kevin.
Kevin had a tough go of it, when he flopped a set of 6's but fell victim to erin's flush when another heart came on the turn. He also lost a bunch when his top pair ran into justin's set. He made a valiant effort but came in fourth
3rd - Tim
Was card dead most of the time, with the exeception of making two straights. With 3,600 left and the blinds of 100-200, Erin raise UTG with A-K, Tim moved all in with J-J, and erin thought for about two minutes then called. With a flop of K-Q-4, moved Tim into dealer status only.
2nd - Erin
She played a good solid game but went card dead at the wrong time and lost the heads up battle
1st - Justin
Well...even he's surprised he won!
No points were awarded but justin won $60 and erin won her money back for coming in 2nd. It was a very fun start to the poker season.
