What we are looking to do is to have whoever wins the "point standings" will get an entry into a $500 tournament of his/her choosing. They then split the winnings 50/50 with the rest of the group. The goal is to play a lot of poker while spreading the wealth around. If this isn't what you're looking for I understand, just let me know.

I am confused when I talk to some people, the person that plays in the casino splits the money with the people in the group? I don't really understand this. Why doesn't the winner just keep all of it? is he going to be forced to play at a casino?

I am for letting the person that won play wherever he really want to. If someone else wins I am not going to tell them where they have to enter a tournament.
